Hi guys, so welcome to tech solutions by Quantum Gaming. If you are a great fond of Windows 10 visual styles, the themes it has in its dialogue boxes and the sound effects or it's taskbar or it's simple but attractive icons but can't afford to purchase the official CD of the genuine Microsoft Windows then you have landed on the correct page. In this blog I will explain you everything what you need to do to transform your Windows 7/8/8.1 into Windows 10 but before I start you can just check the proof of the "transformation".

What do I need to do?

So what you all need to do is that you need to download a transformation pack of Windows 10 which I will provide you at the end of the blog. The pack is a rar archive and you will need WinRar to extract it. The link to download WinRar is given at the end of the blog.

Is the file safe to download?

Yes, the file is completely safe to download as it does not contain any virus, malware or Trojan. This has been verified by a multi-engine scanner website called VirusTotal. You can also scan it for your own satisfaction.

What does it do?

When you will extract the file then there will be an application named Windows 10 Transformation Pack 7.0. You can safely run the application. It will just unpack and execute like any other normal themepack you download. It will update the imageres.dll file and make some new sound effects for you. Then you just wait for about 15 minutes and follow what it says you to. Remember that it will not cause a single threat to your PC.

What is imageres.dll?

This question is common and obvious also. Actually imageres.dll is a file that is used by your system to mainly design icon styles. It is different for different operating systems. The application will update your imageres.dll file to that imageres.dll which is used by Windows 10. So in short it will just make your old icons look like those icons of Windows 10 which you want.

Will I also get the same taskbar as Windows 10?

The answer is yes. You will get the same taskbar as Windows 10 which will also have the search option in which you can search your local files and browse the internet.

Enter the correct password with underscores to prevent errors. (Password is given at the end of the blog). Uninstalling the theme might cause system instability.
